When you look at photos like this, you almost don't realize what is slowly happening. Kids are laughing and playing the same as you and me would, until that switch clicks and people realize something is terribly wrong. People laugh, they talk, they have fun things you would never expect to happen right before an international tragedy. But the sad truth is the warning signs are often too far and too few in between for people to notice. I picked this picture because it shows people having fun in the same way we still have fun, it shows people who weren't worried about their next meal, but were worried about their next test much in the same way as you and me.
