Holland Code Personal Assignment

While taking the personal assignment called Holland Code I was able to see what kind of person I am and see what matches my personality, preferences and likings to a not only one category but my top three. My Holland code is SEA, which is; social, enterprising and artistic and was pleasantly happy with my results because not only did it give me help me narrow down some options for majors but eventually leading to choosing a career that I will enjoy doing. So for my top choice, I received a S which stand for social. I was defiantly not surprised when I realized what the S was and what It reflected about me. Im a social person and prefer to interact and help others, and I see myself always being friendly and trustworthy. My top three values are friendly, helpful and outgoing which I strongly stand behind. This means I can take a huge liking to working with people and …show more content…
Overall, it helped me realize what I lean more towards and that I should probably pick a major that is rather social in order for me to be happy with my decision. I also noticed that I lean more towards being extroverted so when I make my final choices I will defiantly keep that in mind. After analyzing this information, I was able to somehow tie a couple of my letters together. For example, my first result was social and my second was enterprising so I can combine those two and maybe follow a career in business with a minor in communications and create my own business using my own designs and products. That could be option that covers every letter in my Holland code because it includes communication, enterprising and artistic. Overall, this really helped me come up with many different options I did not have in mind before doing this self-assessment that will set the tone for the rest of my
