People say that Hog Confinements are bad for the environment, but there not. You need to look at the benefits you can get from the buildings, and the “bad”. There is nothing wrong with the having a hog building near town. If the people complaining, they must not like pork. Like in my last paper I mentioned the how to get a permit and stuff. You don’t need listen to all the people saying the pollute too much in the air. They put dust in the air but not much. There is a company that makes a filter that you put in between the curtain and pigs. Also, their is biofilter that takes particles of odor and filters it so it is odorless. There is a Government Grant to help the cost so the farmer can still make living. Solar is a huge buzz through the agriculture industry, mainly in the midwest. When it is cold outside the building will burn LP like a 454 gasser.(for all ya’ll city slickers it’s a big motor and uses a lot of gas.) But you can put bubble wrap in between the curtain and net wrap.That is to reduce the amount of heat going out. There is a lot of ways to cut cost. You gotta spend money to make money.
