One phrase that all people can relate to is “There is no place like home”. Therefore, going to an extraordinary college that is near home is a privilege that only a tiny percentage that students get. Consequently, being a family oriented person, I have always preferred to live at home and commute back and forth to the University. Therefore, I believe that the Hofstra University is the ideal school for me, since it's an extraordinary university that excels at academia and its location is quintessential, since it is only seven miles from my home time of New York City. In addition, the fact that Hofstra University is located near New York City, increases the opportunities to receive an internship. Another plus that I discovered about Hofstra University
