One achievement that I will not forget anytime soon is my trip as an ambassador for USA Hockey to Moscow, Russia during my freshman year. Through an application process and essay, I was one of five male hockey payers selected from California and one of twenty selected overall to represent the United States in an exchange program the two countries. I will always be grateful for the opportunity I had to not only represent my country, but also have a first-hand experience with a completely different culture. I spent a week training with my peers, both American and Russian, alongside Russian Olympic coaches.
