Hobbit Book Vs Movie

The Hobbit An unexpected Journey was written by Peter Jackson. In my opinion the movie was sort of good. The Movie was based off of the book The Hobbit which was written by J.R.R Tolkien. Both the movie and the book have a genre of Fantasy. Clearly I think that if you like fantasies you should either watch the movie or read the book. The movie took place in the woods. The main Characters were Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, Thorin, and Kili. The movie is about a person named Bilbo baggins who was living a simple life with all of his fellow hobbits in a place called the shire. Bilbo Baggins had a simple life until a wizard named Gandalf shows up and convinces him to go on a quest with him and with a group of dwarves. The quest was to reclaim …show more content…
What I did not like about the movie is that I did not really get into the movie. Another reason of why I did not really like this movie is because I have never really like these type of movies. Therefore since i didn't get into the movie it was kind of torture to me. But at some parts I thought it was cool like when all the characters went on the journey. Another reason why I didn’t really like the movie is because it was really …show more content…
Something else that I learned is that a quest as big as this one can make your personality change and can bring you closer with other people. Something that other people can learn from the moral lesson of this movie is that even if you do not like someone a journey or quest like this will bring you and that certain person closer. Another obvious lesson you could learn is that no matter what friends have each others backs. A third moral lesson that other people could learn is no matter how much trouble you are in there is at least one person in the group of people that you are in is going to have your back, and if you get in a majorly bad situation they will try to do anything to get you out of that situation.Clearly the main lesson that anyone can learn with the moral or theme of this movie is that you should have each others backs even if you do not like the person that is in a bad

The last lesson I learned is not to take what you have for granted. This is pretty obvious throughout the book. You see the terrible conditions of how the Frank family, Van Daan Family, and Mr. Dussel have to go through. It teaches you that you should be appreciative of what you have because not everybody has that. You see they have to eat beans and can’t eat much else.…

The movie To Kill a Mockingbird, based on the novel written by Harper Lee showed the life of a child during the Great Depression and captured the theme of innocence taken away by evil. In most cases the book is always better than the film because life lessons are taken away in greater detail and are much easier to apply to a reader's life. Many movies stray from the book as did To Kill a Mockingbird, but also captured the scenes not shown in the book. Unlike the book, the movie had taken away the relationship that Boo Radley had with the children. One part of the book which was not shown in the movie was Mrs. Maudie's house fire when Boo Radley had draped a blanket over Scout’s shoulders while Jem and Scout were standing in the cold.…

The Hobbit, written by J. R. R. Tolkien, and the movie Willow share many fierce similarities between their unique characters and designs. The Hobbit carries the reader away on a magical adventure with a hobbit named Bilbo and his friends. Willow, however, shares many aspects of that theme as a small creature named Willow partakes in an adventure to save the infant princess Elora from the dangerous fate Queen Bavmorda has sealed upon her. Both of these stories entertain the audience as the main character discovers new friends and becomes the hero they never knew they could be. Each story has one central antagonist that only wishes for their demise.…

I was extremely excited to begin reading Mockingjay. After seeing the all of the movies, I was excited to see if the books were going to be like the movie. At this point in the book, it seems like there is not much of a difference between the two. My favorite part in Part 1 of Mockingjay is when Peeta sends a coded message to the rebels.…

Effectiveness, efficiency, and a great story is what to look for in a book, like The Hobbit. From the book to the movie there are many ineffective changes affecting the plot of the scene. The novel is written by J.R.R. Tolkien, and the movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is directed by Peter Jackson. In The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, a little hobbit, is persuaded to venture on a journey with thirteen dwarves and Gandalf, a great wizard, to steal back stolen gold and kill the enormous Smaug. On their journey they face many hardships, but those hardships help shape the heroic Bilbo that shows up at the end of the novel.…
