One key therapy that seems to work well with this patient is called “Doll therapy”. She was given two baby dolls which she thinks of them as real babies and keeps her busy in her room. Furthermore, I think that she has been living alone and has, that she relate to the doll as her baby. Her wandering behavior can also be related to the hoarding disorder as she looks for objects to hoard.
There is a TV show called “Hoarding: Buried Alive “explores this issue by showing the impact of this in the normal life functioning and how it affects others in the environment. The struggle of the individual with hoarding disorder as well as the struggle that the family faces is clearly depicted.
