Many activities throughout the whole world triggered the commencement of the World War II. In numerous ways, the World War II was actually a direct outcome of the havoc that remained after the World War I. The instability that was created by the World War I in Europe between 1914 and 1918 fixed the platform for a subsequent international conflict which began after two decades. The conflict was more devastating and thus became the World War II. Germany was unstable in politics and economy at the time Adolf Hitler got the power. He rearmed the country and laid down strategic pacts with countries like Japan as well as Italy with the aim of pushing his world domination ambitions.

After the World War I, many countries in Europe were very weary and therefore they were not ready for another war. Due to this reason, these nations could not respond to countries that were expanding their empires such as Germany. When the countries that were expanding territories like Germany and Italy, and building their army as well as becoming too aggressive in taking over and controlling their neighbors, other countries like France and Britain believed that they would maintain peace via appeasement. This clearly shows that they kept making Hitler and Germany happy instead of attempting to stop him. Their belief and hope were that by meeting Hitler’s demands, he can get satisfied and then there would be no war. Unfortunately, the appeasement policy that they relied upon backfired. It actually made Adolf Hitler bolder and gave him enough time to strengthen and build up the army for his …show more content…
During the World War II, Hitler focused on religious war. He attempted to clear the Jews by slaying all of them. He imprisoned them as well as experimenting on them. This attempt is known as Holocaust. The World War II coerced females into the workplace. The war also terminated the bankruptcy and great depression in Germany. To the economy, when the World War II ended, Money was actually in plenty and also people could spend more. The dollar of America became powerful across the world. The War had effects on the society. The World War II prompted patriotism. Women could spend more since they could work and get paid. New inventions were experienced in areas such as drama, sports, music, and fashion. In addition, women civil rights and minority groups were established and grew strong. The World War II also had impacts on politics. It is at the end of the World War II when the arms race commenced. At this time, America could not be referred to as isolationist but a real super power. Therefore, the World War II brought America into many new ideas and activities. Music, art, and intellectual notions changed. In addition, politics, society, culture, and economy changed and the change was permanent (Lê-mạnh-Hùng, 2004, p. 38).
