1925 was a year when Germany 's economy took an unstable turn; despite this, there were people proposing promising ideas that could have restored the economy, yet everything fell when the international failure devastated Germany. Hitler knew the economy was crumbling and he used that as a lure for people to be apart of his regime. Hitler made many changes in Germany, including turning it into his reign where he aimed for a perfect race and promised a fixed economy to troubled Germans. “Adolf Hitler, a charismatic, Austrian-born demagogue, rose to power in Germany during the 1920s and early 1930s at a time of social, political, and economic upheaval. Failing to take power by force in 1923, he eventually won power by democratic means.” (Grobman 1) When evaluating, one can analyze that Hitler used different unheard of strategies in order to win the popular vote of troubled Germans. When considering the terms and details of Hitler 's abilities when he gained power, one can analyze hitler 's strengths and weaknesses and what he was allowed to do. The Law that the Reichstag group passed granting Hitler permission serve in 4 year terms. This applied until Hitler considered himself the dictator of the newly born Nazi Germany. A few other examples of dystopian effect in literature is The Hunger Games. Inside this dystopian novel, one can analyze its relations that it has to present day. Many of the laws inside this fictional world actually relate to many highly dystopian countries in 2016, and in the past. For example, the corruption within the law (peacekeepers) can relate to corruption in current law. Lastly, the dystopian novel The Book Thief directly relates to the topic of Nazi Germany with its intense and detailed descriptions of the time through following a fictional character, Liesel Meminger, through her experiences in Nazi Germany. The book displays a great amount of understable dystopia to kids all around the world through historical fiction. Overall, through various types of literature, authors are teaching people about the effects and causes of dystopia; even if the examples given may not be historical, they still spread awareness about the corrupt societies that are still around
