According to “History on the Net” there were five different age groups for the youth to be in. There were 3 boys groups, the Pimpf, the Deutsche Jungvolk, and the Hitler Jugend. The Pimpf ( little fellows) was a groups of boys 6-10 year old that would learn outdoor activities such as hiking. The next boys groups was the Deutsche jungvolk which is the age group that starts learning about the army. According to “Historical boy’s uniforms” “Once they were ten they had to swear an oath that they would give up their lives for hitler and Germany.” They would learn they did more military activities like map reading and parading, but still did some sports in this group. Next the boys would move up to the Hitler Jugend They no longer did any sports they would just learn about the army and would be more introduced to patrolling and watching out for traitors to German or
