The political treatise of Adolf Hitler, “Mein Kamf’, is being published by Germany for the first times since the death of the Fuhrer. The decision has already sparked off controversy and there has already been a row about whether it is a rabble-rousing racist account or is indeed an important historical account and an educational tool.
The book was written by Hitler between 1924 and 1926 was banned by the allied force following the end of the 2nd World War. The 70 year copyright of the book is due to end with the end of 2015, and this is triggered off the controversy about whether to print a critical edition of the book with some explanatory sections and over 3500 annotations.
