100 years of JROTC: yesterday, today, and tomorrow

We learn from our past to prepare for the future while using that knowledge in everyday life. JROTC was first established in 1916 in Leavenworth High School. Since then proud supporting schools of the jrotc program have taught us core values, teamwork, and the ability to suceed even when all odds were stacked against us. For the past 100 years we as a JROTC program have used the tools taught to us to support our nieghbors and our communities. As the times and the circumstances have changed our program has adapted. from when we started in 1916 the United States government authorized the assaignment of active duty military personnel. following the National Defense Act of 1916 the beginning
