One of the most problems with coffee growers that had to face through the Latin American is obtaining an adequate labor supply. Coffee production requires a huge amount of laborers for a few months of the harvest year. This problem is more on large farm owners than those who have small lands. In1950 the Colono System had bring together into la hacienda Auquiares an experiment, colono is a person who contracts with the landowners to care for the harvest, under the supervision of the landowner. The colonos receive orders from the group manager, the person that supervises their work.
