For example economic, social, and religious opportunities. When then they got there the French and Indian war had caused a great loss for England's money. Because of this England had to pay a big debt for the destruction of the war. The British were lacking on money so they thought that by putting taxes in what the colonist bought they were going to collect the debt to pay off the war. The colonist were furious on the way the British were treating them. The Americans went through a hard time and lots of struggles to gain their independence.
