History Of Orpheum

Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Orpheum is considered to be one of North America’s most beautiful and elegant theatres. The hall was built by Scottish architect named Marcus Priteca in 1927 and was redeveloped in 2009 with a full stage and three thousand seats-- more than enough to hold shows such as movies, musicals and other stage productions. The Orpheum is the frequent venue for classical music productions by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the two Vancouver choirs. Here are some fun facts!
