Fairview's History
Fairview was incorporated in 1958 when a petition with over 30 signatures requested an incorporation election for Fairview. On May 7, 1958, the election was held in the Fairview Grocery. The support for incorporation was almost unanimous. On May 12, 1958, the town's order for incorporation was signed by Jude Button.

Creekside Park - Open since 2005, Creekside Park is the Town of Fairview's first municipally owned park. Located on Parkdale Drive in the Oakwood subdivision, a playground area, the park features a large picnic pavilion, and a 500 ft paved trail.
Beaver Run - Open since the fall of 2006, Beaver Run is located in the Thompson Springs subdivision. The park features a 1/2 mile paved trail and a nature trail, a basketball court, horse shoe pits,a large picnic pavilion, a playground area, and a large deck overlooking a beaver pond. Signs visible throughout the park tell the story of Fairview's history.
Monarch Park - Located in the Summerhill Farms Subdivision, Monarch Park, was completed in phases. The first phase of the park was complete in 2007 and the second in 2008. Today, the park features a human sundial, a picnic pavilion, and a playground
