In Ray Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder”, Eckels traveled back in time and accidentally stepped on a butterfly, therefore changing all of history. After seeing the T-Rex, Eckles realized that it was impossible to kill it and ran of the Path they were intended to stay on “Eckles!” He took a few steps, blinking, shuffling. “Not that way!” (6). This is important because it was when everything was about to change. He had ran off the path and the guide Travis had said that if they did they could change history in so many ways by simply stepping on the grass and everyone freaked out.
