Jones must be representative of Tsar Nicholas II who was in head of Russia before the rebellion. We read that Old Major encourages the whole farm to take place In the rebellion and as we know by history Lenin was a good orator, so this is one of the similarities between them. Also Lenin’s purpose was to overthrow Tsar Nicholas and to make a socialistic country, while Old Major’s goal was to overthrow Mr. Jones and give the farm to the animals, so here is another similarity. Mr. Jones worked the animal without concern of welfare and took “wealth” from them and didn’t give it back. Tsar Nicholas did the same in Russia and that is why Mr. Jones must be considered as Tsar Nicholas. Jones even inherited the farm from his father, like Nicholas inherited rulership. There also similarities between Napoleon and Joseph Stalin, Snowball and Leon Trotsky and their relationship.
