1. Describe the historical figure by describing the historical setting compared to today. Also describe the general population’s understanding of the social issues that the persons addressed. (80 points) Rosa Parks lived in the United States during a time of segregation and inequality. There has been nice achievements for civil rights since the time of segregation. However, there 's now no segregation but there is still a movement for civil rights as violations to the laws of civil rights do still take place in society around the world. This was a tough time in America. The issues that are the very basis of civil rights affected every American national. The white folks of America were terribly ill-informed and choose to think it was not their problem so most turned a blind-eye to everything about civil rights. The actual fact that black folks were sequestered from white people because of their skin color had to be dealt with. Segregation refers to racial grouping. The overall reason stated for segregation was generally presumed to be "bad" to be in a class caused by some form of "racism", which had restricted chance, economic, political and social disadvantage, and/or the effects of historic discrimination. In easy terms, completely different from the white race (McGadney, 2013). The existence of isolated and racially sequestered housing has preserved racial mistrust, furthering ignorant stereotypes that inhibit our society from attaining true racial equality.…
