Reason one for my belief is, although it's not completely realistic, everything is easily relatable. Firstly, Abe's son, William Lincoln, died from Typhoid fever. I believe that he could have died from a vampire bite, like he did in the movie. Many people will argue that vampires are just …show more content…
This would be the death of Abe's mother. It is recorded in history that she died from Milk sickness. In the movie she was killed by a vampire bite. This time it was revenge to Abe's father for going against his former employer. His ex-employer being the vampire that kills his wife. Another reason to believe this is true.
Reason three, the Civil war. History says the war is against the South, in the movie the vamps play as the South. Also in the movie, there is a decoy of the train to get weapons to the North. The North starts out losing, but pulls ahead and wins against the South. The North had down graded weapons, while the South had the newest of weapons. The South having power, speed, and their teeth. Abe provided the North with weapons to kill the South, Silver weapons.
All in all, I believed that this movie could be based off a true story. The movie is very relatable to history. The only difference is the facts recorded in our history. In both the movie and history, Abe's mother and first son die. The disparate between them are the ways they die. Also, a similarity is the war that takes place. This war would be the Civil War. There is also a divergent fact here. In Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, the war of the North and South, is the war of vampires and humans. All those are reasons why I believe this could have happened in our
