Thanks for writing on my post with many questions, which have the same soul about people who lived in different time and space felt happy or knew that their time period was good or not. In my opinion, we cannot decrease the historical event’s historiography at an individual level. Some would like, and some would not. The historiography of world history focus on the historians’ interpretations that should be logic and reflect the truth of the time period. For example, let’s just go back to WW II while the Nazis were killing the Jews. If you ask a pure Nazi about his/her time period till the end of 1942, he/she would answer you “I am happy, I eat and drink well, and the German people would be rich and happy forever.” If you ask the
