As I watched the movie “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” directed by Mark Herman released on November 7, 2008 was about an incident that was happening during World War II. This movie was about a family who was moving from Berlin to Poland because the father Ralf was a Nazi soldier who had to move to a new house near a concentration camp with his family where he has now become a commandant. Bruno his son an 8 year old boy is very sad about moving to this new place and feels lonely so he wonders around his house and wants to explore behind his backyard. Bruno has been told by his dad that the concentration camp is a farm which he helps the farmers. As Bruno and his sister are being brainwash by their instructor that Hitler is risking his life …show more content…
The guy who needs to do all the chores in Brunos house is very old and as the family was dinning he was very scared and he drop a glass of wine in the table so one of the Nazis started screaming at him and beat him until he died. The following day a new Jew was at their house which happened to be Shmuel he was cleaning all cup of glasses as Bruno offers him food and Shmuel is eating it and a Nazi soldier comes and he thinks he is robbing because Bruno denies he gave the food to him because he was so scared. Next day Shmuel does not appear their no more which he was beaten by the soldier. The mother never knew what was that terrible smell until one of the soldiers said it smelled worse right when they killed them as she realize Jews were being burn down which she did not agree with her husband. At the end the father agrees his family should not be there and decides they must leave Bruno does not want to leave because he has made a friend who they do not know. Bruno does not want to leave so he and Shmuel make a hole and Bruno goes in and puts a stripe pajama where he was also burn in the concentration camp where soldiers thought he was a Jew as well because only the Jews wore stripe …show more content…
Jews were being treated terribly they would not give them food and they would make them work. As German children were being brainwash at school that Jews were their enemies and all should listen to Hitler who was doing everything for his country to be better. Millions of Jews were killed during World War II. In the concentration camps the Jews were being burn into ashes. Jews were either in concentration camps or in German houses were they were the slaves and had to do any order the Germans command to do so or else there were consequences. Even commercials passed on television were lies they would make Jews think if they turn themselves in they will have a better life and will be treated good. Many Jews believed it but ones they were in concentration camps it was the opposite they lives a horrible
