Yet, Latinos continue to be bound by stereotypical roles. Many people would describe Latinas as having fierce personalities and a passionate side when angry, which is what most see on television. When this personality or way or being is the only thing shown in the media, it is easy for those that do not personally know a Hispanic woman to assume she acts this way, which exacerbates a negative opinion.
