The biggest question on college goers minds is "Where is my tuition going?". We can see some of the usage, new technology, staff payroll, general upkeep. We in college believe that most of our money is going toward advancements and to our professors. Yet again, Dr. Kaler looked into payroll and found that in 10 years that the administration is taking up more of the payroll and the percent of payroll that is allocated to professors has dropped. Again, absurd to college goers; yet there is more to the picture than we think. Dr. Kaler comes to that conclusion too. There is a lot of fluff in the administration office and processes of the office that can be mainstreamed but there is also a lot that cannot be. One needs a bigger Marketing Department to entice more donators and more enrollees. Even big moneymakers like college live by the rule that you have to spend money to make
