Ryan will also attend college to avoid having to keep living at home or because his parents will not maintain him. Most individuals whom attend a university are acting upon intrinsic motivation because they are working towards their own personal goals established during high school. A self-fulfilling prophecy is the communicated belief of the individual told by someone else to the original individual.
