Confidentiality and being HIPPA compliant is always a legal concern for me as a therapist. Conversing with her drug counselor about Carry’s progress and goals is limited, I only share bare minimum. Carry told me recently in session, she was not honest about a situation, because she did not want me to disclose to her drug counselor.
