Hi James,

I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of excruciating pain you endured. Experiencing such an abnormal state of pain more likely than not changed your everyday life and took a lot of adjusting. Did the pain, inhibit you from walking by any means? Did getting in shape and embracing a healthy lifestyle, reduce the stress on the hip joint and lessen the pain? Is it difficult to remain active due to wanting to avoid the pain?

At times accepting reality is challenging, there's always a part of us in denial. That’s great that you experienced a salvaged self and discovered that occasional hip pain can serve as a helpful reminder and motivate maintain healthy weight.
