Well, most people do. Vince Staples states in an interview with Time Magazine that he does not think that the 90’s was “all that.” Staples also says that that time period gets way too much credit and that he truly did not know why. Vince was born in 1993 so when he was old enough to remember any song lyrics and the artist’s name it had been another decade. The 90s decade is remembered as having the best television shows, the best clothing styles, and even the best music of the century. Hip Hop in the 90s, the Golden Age, was a big hit in the musical industry. The Golden Era was what is was by reason of all new inventions making a new sound of music, but still keep the Hip Hop feel in the music as well. Countless people are actually confused about when the Golden Era actually started. The New York Times says that the Golden Age started in the late 80’s to early 90’s. Then the book of Contemporary Youth Culture claims that the Golden Era began in 1987-1999 after the “Era of the Old School” from the late 70’s to the middle 80’s. Then there were a few who says that there was even a second Golden Age called the “Silver Age” during the Golden Age between either 1993- 1995 or
