Hip-Hop Music is not a Bad Influence on People
People may think the Hip-Hop genre is a bad influence on how people act in terms to violence. Using information to prove that this is not true, having a handful of research that supports that rap and hip hop does not influence people violently. Starting off, these acts of violence can be shown before they were introduced to rap. Surprisingly showing no negative affects mentally after being exposed to this and too showing an increase in academic schooling. It is also believed that people aren't affected to different violent material and do not give off a negative mood or effect after.

Off topic of Rap music, “ a recent study showed that the more violent games you play, the less likely you are to believe you are affected by the violence in them. Pretty much saying the more violent video games you play the less you think you're attitude of your surroundings change. However, thinking to yourself that your are immune to theses violent video games does not show a factual topic if they are or are not affecting you in any way. For example, during a radio host a man the name of Don Imus was in the conversation of women's basketball and referred to one team ass Nappy Headed Ho’s. This comment was considered acceptable through people's minds. The amount of sexist and racist comments made in music and film has made it in people's mind acceptable that these remarks are being made (Dill 1). After all what people say on within theses lyrics or just on the internet in general are allowed to say what it is they said. This is because of freedom of speech and people are allowed to express themselves in any way they would like. However what comes with this freedom of speech comes with what with other people opinions of how they think, a majority of it when it comes to theses sexist slurs is acceptable because of how much of it there is online (Dill 2).
