“Agni is the lord, protector, king of men. He is the lord of the house, dwelling in every abode. He is a guest in every home; he despises no man, he lives in every family.” Agni is usually depicted as a man with two faces, seven arms, three legs, and is usually associated with fire. His arms represent the seven flames and his legs represent the three worlds in which he reigns. He created the Sun along with all the other stars in the universe. He also conveys messages from humans to other Gods and vice versa. Hindus pay oblations to Agni through a ritual called paśubandha. In this ritual you make an octagon out of wood, place a goat, ox, bull, or ram on it, then light it on fire.Those who offer oblations to Agni receive good wealth and live
