Hinduism And Christianity Trinity Research Paper

Improved Essays
Hinduism and Christianity have a main difference in the trinity. Hindus believe there are three main Gods that are all equivalent to the reality of Brahman. However, Christians believe in three persons but one God which is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Christians argue that God is a trinity of persons. The trinity is composed of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three persons are not the same. There are not three gods and not three beings. They are three distinct persons, yet, they are all one God. For example, “Jesus is one person with two natures: Divine and Human (Slick Matt). Another reason Hindu’s cannot devote themselves to more than one god because then that defeats the purpose of a God, there cannot be two infinite Gods
