Yoga is a spiritual method for people to “perfect their union with the divine” (Molloy, p.90). In Hinduism, there are six total types of yogas. Three of the six yogas are the Bhakti Yoga, the Raja Yoga, and the Hatha Yoga. The Bhakti Yoga, also called “Devotion Yoga”, is a type of yoga that involves devotion (Molloy, p.92). In Hinduism religion, the people show devotion to their gods in many ways. They can express devotion to through offerings, chants, songs, and anointing of statues; they also display devotion to their loved ones.

The Raja Yoga, also called “Royal Yoga”, is a yoga that encourages meditation (Molloy, p.92). People do meditation as a way for them to release stress and obtain inner peace. In Hinduism religion, the people do
