Hinder Communication Methods

The first and most important method would be, getting to know the resident. As a nurse aide, I would take some time to sit and talk to my residents. By doing so, I will be building a relationship with the resident which allows for better communication and understanding between one another. This will also help me to figure out what my resident’s favorite activities, hobbies, movies, etc. With this information I could try to incorporate these items into their daily or weekly events which would allow for them to feel more at home and possibly happier.
Another method I would use is getting to know my resident’s family since they would give me some insight on what my residents like and does not like. This could come in handy when it comes to new
