50 years old male patient presented to the hospital on 30/9/2015, with history of sever headache and vomiting. On the exam the patient was unconscious with GCS of 7, both pupils constricted with down ward gaze and neck stiffness with elevated BP. The patient was brought to the radiology department for urgent CT head and CT angiography.
ANATOMY OF THE BRAIN:
Nothing can be compared with the human brain. Its one of the most important and complex organ in the body, it controls all necessary functions of the body, it consists of 3 parts:
1. Forebrain: consists of cerebrum, thalamus, hypothalamus, pineal gland
2. Midbrain: consists of brainstem
3. Hindbrain: consists of brainstem, cerebellum, pons
