The fireworks are only on Fridays and the torch lighting is done every evening at sunset. The beach can be a perfect place for a family, a couple or just to hang out with friends. Launiupoko Beach is another beach you could check out. It has an unusual feature of a natural pool that is surrounded by a lava rock wall.
Another reason I believe Maui has been voted the best has to do with the amazing Road To Hana! You will not experience another road anywhere else in the world like this road. It can take anywhere from two to four hours to drive only 52 miles on this road. Where else can you experience 620 curves and 59 bridges in just 52 miles?
