One of the main reasons I believe people love Maui so much is because it has over 30 miles of beautiful beaches. One amazing beach is the Kaanapali Beach. This beach has white sand, clear water, activities such as sunbathing and snorkeling. It even has cliff diving ceremonies nightly. The beach can be a perfect place for a family, a couple or just to hang out with friends. Launiupoko Beach is another beach you could check out. It has an unusual feature of a natural pool that is surrounded by a lava rock wall.
Another reason I believe Maui has been voted the best has to do with the amazing Road To Hana! You will not experience another road anywhere else in the world like this road. It can take anywhere from two to four hours to drive only 52 miles on this road. Where else can you experience 620 curves and 59 bridges in just 52 miles? The location of this road is on the eastern coastline of the island. On the drive you come across amazing rainforests, waterfalls and

These Hawaiian Islands have been inhabited for centuries before the first ships sailed across the Pacific. Hawaiian Islands have been shrouded in mystery since their history had been passed along vocally for centuries. Hawaiian culture hasn’t changed drastically ever since they inhabited the islands, until European and American explorers discovered the islands. This pair interested me the most because both nations have two completely different identities, but the Hawaiian Islands later become part of the United States. These nations have completely different history, religion, clothing, culture, and many more.…

Hawaii is a wonderful place to go for a family vacation, a honeymoon, etc. because there are many things to do in Hawaii! For example, you can swim with dolphins on the islands of Hawaii, also you can snorkel, whale watch, golf, surf, take a helicopter and see the whole island, experience the Hawaiian culture, go to luaus, go hiking, go to the spa, zip line, take cruises, etc. You can't do much of this in France because it's too cold there and because they don't have those things in France.…

Of course there is the beach itself too. The beach is where most of the daytime is spent riding waves, tanning, learning to skim board, building sand castles, and occasionally going sand crabbing in the evening. These may seem like insignificant places and memories but one thing that they have in common is that in all of them I was enjoying being a carefree, happy,…

Pearl Harbor Excursion from Ko Olina and Aulani It’s wonderful to spend time on Oahu’s scenic leeward side, away from the bustle of Waikiki. The resorts at Ko Olina and Aulani are perfect places for families visiting Hawaii or anyone who prefers a more relaxing stay. The only downside seems to be that most guided tours only offer pickup in Waikiki. This is why we've organized a regular half-day tour of Oahu’s most important location—Pearl Harbor—that takes you from Aulani and Ko Olina straight there and back.…

In Hawaii, waking to the red and blue birds chirping and the oceans waves crashing on to the shore is tremendously relaxing. Looking out the window of the hotel while lying in bed, one could see crystal blue ocean crashing onto the sandy white beaches. The sand on the beaches does not feel like the beach in Panama City Beach; it does not stick to you as much and it is easier to get off. The sand is bigger grains than one might be used to. On some of the islands in Hawaii, there are black sand beaches where the sand…

My grandparents grew up in Hawaii and they moved to America in 1938. I remember them telling me that they met in Hawaii and that Hawaii will always be their home. Whenever I go to Mimi (grandma) and Yaya’s (grandpa) house Mimi would show me pictures about the way she lived and Yaya loves telling me stories about how their people lived in Hawaii. Did you know the volcano was made in 1762 and didn’t erupt until 1874. Mimi told me that my father was born in Hawaii but he only lived there for 6 years.…
