As human beings we don’t have the luxury of being able to choose between becoming a male or a female, and regardless of what technology has to offer in the next generations to come it should stay that way. The idea of a man or women ever being more superior to another is an absolute disgrace to our society. In order for our country to function the way it does, men and women on a daily basis must work side by side under no restrictions. In all honesty, being a male I grew up not having to deal with all the sexism that goes on in a girls every day activities. I don’t blame the strong willed women for rebelling and going against the common stereotypes that are tagged against them, I would do the same.…

In the cartoon “Email Severs Dominoes” by Jeff Poterba, the author is claiming that as Hillary’s Clinton email servers’ situation is falling apart, she is trying her best to keep up the story she has told the public. The cartoon shows email servers lined up falling like dominoes and Hillary Clinton standing at the end trying to keep the servers from falling. Koterba argues that Clinton is not stating the truth by ignoring voters concerns about what were in the emails she sent/received. While serving as the Sectary of State of New York in 2015,” Hillary Clinton used a personal email, with a private email server stationed at her home, to send and receive work-related emails” (Voorhees).…

The selected article is titled “The Way Lena Dunham Talks about Black Men is Peak White Entitlement” and was published in the Black Voices subsection of the Huffington Post. We can tell by a small attached photo that the author is a young, African-American woman (Blay). This is important because she’s black, which to some people would mean she has more of a “right” to speak on this topic, and she’s young so she’s more likely to be knowledgeable about today’s pop culture, which this article pertains to. These two things together are a good indicator that she knows what she’s talker about more than, say, a middle-aged white man might.…
