Hillary Clinton should be the next president of the United States. Although this year’s presidential election could be mistaken for a popularity contest, Hillary Clinton will still make a good president. Not only will she be the first women to become president and make a large step in the right direction for women in gender equality. Hillary Clinton will make a good president for the next term are she is pro equal rights for LGBT in America, She supports public school systems and plans to help rebuild public school around the United States, She wants to put an end to terrorist and have more protection in America.(Hillary Clinton 2016.) Hillary Clinton plans to combat terrorism and keep our homeland safe. Terrorist attacks are happening more often and are hard to stop. Terrorist attacks like Paris, Brussels, and Orlando has made it clear that terrorist are out there and could attack anywhere. First she wants to stop ISIS by getting help and more support from local Arab and Kurdish forces on the ground. Then pursuing a diplomatic strategy aimed at resolving Syria’s civil war. Also pursuing a diplomatic strategy with Iraq’s conflict with between Sunnis and Shias. Both of these lead to the beginning of ISIS. (Hillary on Combating Terrorism and Keeping the Homeland Safe.) ISIS is one of the biggest threats out there now and it is important that America and our Allies stop them from hurting more people than they already have. Clinton also plans to work with our allies to help take down the terrorist network including ones other than ISIS.(Hillary Clinton Calls for Unity, Resolve to Combat Terrorism.) Clinton’s third part of her plan is to strengthen our defenses. To do this she plans to supply first responders and law enforcement with the correct tools and training to stop a terrorist attack before they happen. Second try to keep guns out of terrorist hands. Every person that wants to buy a gun should have a background check and nobody should be able to buy military style guns
