Greedy Politicians
George Bernard Shaw once said, “He knows nothing; and he thinks he knows everything.
That points clearly to a political career”(Quotes About Politicians). How do you feel about politicians? I believe that most people get the impression that politicians are greedy, manipulative, and think they know everything about our world and how it will play out. Hearing from our recent election, I think that most people would agree with this statement. You may have a different opinion, but there is evidence to prove otherwise.
Hillary Clinton was in the running to be president for the 2016 election. She is the U.S. Secretary and has been in the business for a long time. She made commercials about her opponent, Donald Trump stating harsh

Donald Trump didn’t manipulate Hillary in the way she manipulated him, through bashing him on a commercial, but he did manipulate her in many other ways. Throughout the debates, they each bashed each other. In the debate, Hillary said, “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law of our country.” Then Trump jumped in and said, “Because you’d be in jail” (Bouie). The tension was so high in all the debates, it was statement after statement, interruption and interruption. There is no …show more content…
Suzy Kassem said, “A system is corrupt when it is strictly profit-driven, not driven to serve the best interests of its people” (Quotes About Greedy). Parts of the world are devastated to have someone like Donald as our next U.S. President because he comes off this way. For example, his idea to build a wall. Who are the illegals affecting? Many people are very close with all races and would be a terrible thing deport people. People have families here that they wouldn’t want to get taken away from, that are causing no harm. Many people are against that idea. He says he will make it great again, but many people don’t think his plan will in fact make America great

I do my best to not judge a political figure based on their party affiliation. My dislike of Betsy DeVos has nothing to do with her party preferences; it has everything to do with her political opinions and experiences. As someone raised by two public school teachers and educated on how our school systems work, this woman's policies make me nervous. I have yet to see any piece of information that could possibly change my mind.…

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Next year promises to bring us one of the most polarizing and ideologically charged presidential elections in recent memory. The first decade and a half of the 21st century has witnessed momentous changes in the American political landscape from threats of foreign and domestic terrorism to a resurgence of philosophies once thought to be extinct from the public consciousness. During this pivotal moment in our history however, many Americans are losing faith in either party’s ability to cater to their needs which has in turn created a set of circumstances under which people with more radical ideas have at last enter the national spotlight. One such person is a self-proclaimed socialist caucusing with the Democrats named Bernie Sanders who has…

You should vote for the Democratic party and here’s why. The Democratic party supports the minimum wage being raised, same-sex marriage, stricter gun laws, and migration into the United States legally. Democrats believe that the current minimum wage is a starvation wage and must be increased to a living wage. Raising the minimum wage would benefit the people who are under the poverty line. If a person makes $15,000 a year before taxes, that person will end up under the poverty line after taxes.…

Visual Analysis When you look at this article you realize that both political parties are at the table with a formal setting (suits, wine, napkins tucked in shirt collar, ect). The Republican elephant (left) is holding a menu with new candidates that have little to no experience in the white house. While the Democratic donkey (right) is thinking “leftovers…” as it holds a fork and knife while looking at an old and wrinkly Hillary Clinton that is curled in a ball on a plate in the middle of the table. I personally think Hillary’s record politically is a joke that screams that she shouldn’t even be considering running for President of the United States for many reasons.…

Lately I have been watching the news and was shocked with what President Donald trump explained . I am not just atrocious about how bad he speaks about people like immigrants, for example, but the fact that of what he said about new policies of immigration. The first reason why I disagree with President Trump is that if he does send every immigrant back to their native countries it will cause problems in our work economy. One of the reasons why United States was made by immigrants and still depend on them is that most immigrants work in fields or other jobs that most people wouldn't do.…
