As the 2016 election nears, Americans must vote wisely on who will be the next president of the United States of America. America is facing many problems. America owes so much in student loan debt, which is affecting the economy. There has been many job losses, and workers are demanding higher wages. Many recent Terrorist attacks and mass shootings at a club, schools, malls, airports, restaurants. Many are unsatisfied at how there is no a strict law for gun control. These problems show America needs a strong and intelligent leader to help reduce these problems. Although these problems are complicated and difficult, Hillary Clinton is the only candidate in the presidential election who is equipped to handle them and has a plan to solve them. …show more content…
One of her plans is to improve American education. She acknowledges students are burdened with loan debts than ever and wants to help students leave college without enormous debts. Today, 15% of undergraduate and graduate students have over $100,000 in debt. To reduce the debt, Hillary Clinton plans to make public colleges and universities free for students from families making $125,000 or less. She thinks wealthy families should not be offered free tuition. She plans to pay this college plan by raising the tax on the wealthy. According to spokesman Jesse Ferguson, he says that Hillary Clinton is “deeply committed to the revised plan” (The Wall Street Journal). America needs this of a president who will commit to this plan, recognizes the unfair system we have, student’s struggles, importance of education, the need of potential students to help this world …show more content…
Hillary Clinton plans to close the loophole, which is called Charleston Loophole. She also wants to close gun shows, ban semi-automatic weapons, and have stronger background checks on gun buyers. Hillary Clinton has experience of holding a gun. In April 2008, Hillary Clinton said, “My dad taught me how to shoot when I was a little girl” (Time). Through her experience of shooting a gun at a young age, she knows how lethal it is.
