Hillary Clinton: Next President Or Not?

Clinton: Next President or Not? As the 2016 presidential elections approaches one name in particular stands above the rest: Hillary Clinton. The 2016 presidential elections are a mix match of odd candidates. Among these candidates there are retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Billionaire Entrepreneur Donald Trump, our very own John Kasich from Ohio, and a scandalous Hillary Clinton; despite having choices, the 2016 candidates are not very good ones. However, voting is a very important right and privilege we have as Americans, but more importantly you should know who you are voting for as the next president. Each candidate has their own set of good and bad qualities. Hillary Clinton should not be a presidential candidate because of her presidential …show more content…
A president of the United States is meant to represent the American people and its nation, but much like her husband, William Clinton 42nd president of the United States, Hillary Clinton does not fit the bill. William Clinton had been in many scandals which led to him being the 2nd president to be impeached, tarnishing the Clinton name forever. However, no one can judge another based on who they are affiliated with. To put Bill Clinton aside, the legacy of Hillary Clinton being president would land her in the history books perhaps a turning point in American history even. Not because of political stand point or agenda but because she is a woman. Indeed having a female president would be a turning point in history, yet, to have that as a reason to vote for Hillary is wrong. History would repeat itself as it did in the presidential election for Barack Obama in 2012 …show more content…
Clinton’s political career has been one conspiracy after another with the murder of Vince Foster to the Benghazi debacle. No evidence can be found as proof of her involvement in the case of Vince Foster’s murder or suicide, but how can one vote for a person who may be a potential murderer or at least involved in something so diabolical? Analyst James Dale Davidson stated, "The fact that the photographs are disappearing, the x-rays were allegedly taken and disappeared, the fact that all the things that you would do if you were trying to cover up and disguise the evidence have been done in this case, where the testimony of the witnesses was changed in the FBI reports -- it doesn't add up." (Lane, 1998). The Benghazi cover-up, however, was something much harder to sweep under the rug. The Defense Intelligence Agency reported, "We expect more anti-U.S. terrorist attacks in eastern Libya [redacted], due to the terrorists’ greater presence there." (Morris, 2014). That statement was reported six days before the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. It does not matter how much intelligence there is; if there is even a kernel of proof of an impending attack on our country one must take appropriate measures. President Bush made the same mistake when he had knowledge of an attack before 9/11. The plain fact is that this possible future president failed miserably in her first

She cannot do anything without the media scrutinizing how she presented herself instead of what she actually said. The media also tries to frame her accomplishments through Bill’s life. By saying, “Hillary is only a politician because of Bill’s affair,” the media is trivializing her accomplishments and directs the attention back to the lives of men. Also, people like Sarah Palin, who appear “hyper feminine” are not taken seriously in politics. She was constantly called a ditz, as if beauty and knowledge cannot mix.…

First Lady of the United States, United States Senator, and Secretary of State are some of the titles that have been attached to Mrs. Clinton over the years. However, after her defeat in the 2008 Democratic Party primary to political neophyte and eventual President, Barack Obama many believed that the curtain had come down on her political career. Nevertheless, Hillary Clinton with such tenacity told us to never count her out. Before the election had started, there were calls from all around the Democratic Party’s establishment for her to run, which was tantamount to an anointment as the true successor of President Barack Obama. However, there were those of us who felt that Clinton represented the past, the politics of triangulation, and the character of a chameleon -- someone who would say whatever to achieve her poorly masked goal of sitting in the Oval Office as President of the United States.…

I believe Clinton has been in office for several years, meaning she know what she is getting into. Determination and persistence were an integral part of Hillary Clinton character. Her life will always be fascinating and would serve as an example of dedication and commitment to others. (Blumenthal, 2016). In addition, I support Clinton proposals but I am still unsure of the truth or the lies that are involved in this election.…

Ferrara stated in his article “Benghazi: Obama’s Actions Amount To A Shameful Dereliction Of Duty”, “When President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton stepped into the Rose Garden the Morning of September 12, they likely knew (Correction: they surely knew) the attack on our Benghazi consulate the day before was organized by terrorists” (Ferrara 5). This shows that President Obama and Secretary Clinton both knew that there was possibly going to be an attack. “They knew because they were privy to a flurry of emails among administration officials discussing the attack in real time” (Ferrara 5).This also states that they had emailed a lot of people saying what was happening in the attack and not doing anything to help, thus killing U.S. ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and the four others to be killed and drug through the streets…
