Another thing so close to honesty is being principle which is sticking to beliefs and ideas or keeping promises, Being principle is an important quality that all presidents need.For example, Hillary Clinton has a reputation for dishonest like when she lied that she gave up all her email but FBI found out that she delete many. This shows that she not principle to her word which is one reason why she has a problem in this election season. Being principle is needed because how do common man know what a politician actually believe like when Hillary switch her view on the TPP(Trans-pacific partnership) when she said “[it] set the gold standard in trade agreements.”and now she says she did not support the deal after negotiation but she switches because opponent fought against the TPP. This shows that her policy is just the thing to change to get support by the voter which is so sly and just bad. Also so position change could lead to winning a race. For example, when Trump said that did not support the Iraq war and lead to winning the Redbluican primary, but his claim was lying because the only statement was supporting it.
