First off, Gender bias isn't as big of a problem as some people think in the election because people will be voting for the person who helps the country the most and not because of their gender. She states, “It is beyond offensive to tell women that disagree with Hillary Clinton that they are going to hell because they don’t vote for her. Beyond that, voting for Clinton is DEFINITELY NOT helping women in general. If you disagree with her policies and find her not right for the job, voting for her anyway is a hindrance to women.” In my opinion I agree with Medeiros because a man shouldn't be voting for Clinton because she is female and a woman should not only vote for Clinton because she is female. In the article titled, “There’s much less gender bias in politics than you think. Here’s why.” by Danny Hayes and Jennifer L. Lawless. They state, “Some experimental studies find a bit of a subtle gender bias in voters’ attitudes toward candidates — but in the real world, powerful cues, such as party identification, may be more overwhelming.” This shows gender bias has improved because people aren't voting over whether the person running for president is male or female but because rather on which political party they agree with. This shows that there are other factors that go into voting like political party. Also this prove my point because im not saying theres no gender bias and in studies they find that there is subtle gender bias. I believe the subtle gender bias won't affect the outcome of the
