Feminism
A feminist can be defined as a person who supports feminism. Feminism is a range of political movement, ideologies and social movement that share the common objective of characterizing, building up and accomplishing political, financial, individual and social right for the women (Hawkesworth 12). Hillary Clinton, a Democrat presidential candidate in the United States of America, can be regarded as a feminist due to her act of defending women rights. However, her concerns for the entire nation of the United States, as reflected by her policies not only for women alone but also for the general population might deem her just like another political figure but not feminist. …show more content…
Clinton defends women by claiming during the final presidential debate that Trump demeans and belittles women and to prove her statement right; Trump called her “what a nasty woman.” The strong defense against women shown by Hillary Clinton on the women in United States and worldwide does not only prove that she has women at heart but also, bring about feminism in her. In her line of work, Hillary Clinton has also shown some aspect of feminism. When she was a lawyer, she drew consideration on her 1992 spouse presidential campaign; she said that she could have violated law practice to remain at home and heat …show more content…
These rights include the right to hold public office, equal right to marriage, right from rape and any sexual harassment, and domestic violence. In her campaign trail when she announced that her husband would join hand to support her in her ambition clearly shows that she is anti-feminist since it is not a good portrait in the public domain since Bill Clinton has faced a lot of counter-accusation of sexual harassment of the females and this brings queries about her moves and the treatment of the women who were involved in these cases of sexual assaults while on her side she claims to be a feminist, claiming that the involved persons in the sexual assault have the right to be heard and
