The second presidential debate took place on October 9, 2016 at Washington University. During the first debate Hillary Clinton left the crowd in a substantial victory in November. However, when she first ran different individuals were concerned about her running against Bernie Sanders however that isn’t the case anymore. Her prime opponent is Donald Trump. “In the contest between hope and cynicism, justice and prejudice, solidarity and selfishness, we can be absolutely certain that Trump is not on our side.” Mr. Trump’s manipulation of racism and xenophobia has resulted in attacks on the press and the judiciary. Hillary Clinton strongly agreed that abortions are a women’s unrestricted rights. She also strongly agrees that “legally require hiring women & minorities.” She strongly agrees with “comfortable with same-sex marriage.” Also she agrees with “keep God in the public sphere”. Clinton feels’ that EPA regulations are too restrictive which she strongly agrees with. Furthermore, Clinton agrees with “making voters registrations easier.” Secretary Clinton feels that Donald Trump would send our economy into depression again. Her second major point is Domestic Issues. Clinton disagrees with stricter punishment reduces crimes. Clinton strongly disagrees with “absolute right to gun ownership. Furthermore, Clinton agrees to “expand Obamacare”. She stated in the debate “Right now, we are at 90 percent health insurance coverage. That’s the highest we’ve ever been in our country.” However, Clinton strongly disagrees with “vouchers for school choice”. Also she disagrees with “marijuana as a getaway drug”.
