In the world of politics and governments, there will always be corruption banging on the door. Political corruption has been ruining America for years. America could easily avoid corruption by electing the correct president and by throwing out the ones who are corrupt that are in office. The media needs to open up and inform the public about the scandals and sleazes that the politicians are involved in. The problem is that the media hides every little secret, especially for those who share their political views. If the public knew how corrupt Hillary Clinton is, she would not be in office. Although there are many qualified and well-intentioned politicians, there are many who are corrupt with a sense of entitlement, only looking out for themselves, who should not be able to run or stay in office. To begin with, there are thousands of corrupt politicians who have been involved with the government over the last century. Thousands may seem like a huge number, but the truth is that a majority of the public has had the truths hidden from them. The most corrupt politician over the last few years is Hillary Clinton. According to USA Politics Today, “The nonpartisan Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) placed Clinton at the top of its worst ethics violators of 2015 list after finding ‘overwhelming evidence’ she abused her official position as secretary of state” (USA Politics Today 1). The funny part about this is that she violated her position as Secretary of State and Congress is still allowing her to run for President. Maybe they forgot the fact that Hillary Clinton left American troops to die in Benghazi by not sending reinforcements. They also may have forgotten about the secret e-mails
