In March 2015, thousands of Hillary Clinton’s emails were leaked publicly. Emails that were written during Clinton’s time as Secretary of State. Regularly you HAVE to use a government issued email for handling governmental issues. However, Mrs. Clinton exclusively used her personal email from her home server. According to Congress Clinton was violating protocol, yet she argued the she stayed obedient and that former secretaries of state had previously maintained their private email accounts as well. Possibly one of the worst in American history. But what is this Pay to Play? Ultimately, it all comes down to its literal term, you pay cash in exchange for services or favors, in some cases privileges. As for Hillary, she has been strategizing the best method to get the best benefits, and I believe she has found it. But first, let 's look at the facts. Hilary had this huge scheme where donors of the Clinton Foundation could be offered special access to private meetings in the state department with Hillary, but with a price. But that doesn’t mean it’s tolerable to do it. Some businesses have actually developed rules to control this system. Generally business prevent them from getting special government contracts (it being the play) by donating or making contributions to certain candidates. The issue is that with Hillary situation is that she mainly made exchanges with foreign countries who, very likely don’t care about ethics, therefore they don’t really expect to be ethical. Anything having to do with bribery and the government isn’t appropriate because that is illegal and could be charged as treason. But about ethics, Mrs. Clinton states on her website “Empowering people to build better futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.” This might as well be said as false because Hillary failed that mission whenever the earthquake on Haiti occurred. The earthquake was probably the most devastating humanitarian crisis Clinton faced during her position in the state Department. In a matter of seconds 250,000 people were estimated to have died. Most of the Haitian infrastructure and economy was devastated. Days following the earthquake Hillary made visits to Haiti. When she landed she made a large press conference and made statements of her commitment to rebuilding this country. She met with Haitian leaders and international officials to discuss the rescue and relief effort. Up to 13 billion dollar were donated from international relief
