A president is someone that can lead the country in a right direction. It takes a special kind of person to be a good president. He/she must be smart, driven and have good leadership. Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born October 26, 1947 in Chicago. As a child, she played baseball and she swam. She graduated in the top 5 percent of her class in high school. She married her longtime boyfriend Bill Clinton on October 11, 1975. Her husband Bill Clinton took office as the President of the United States in January 1993. She would help the immigrants to get good health care and maybe even get medicine to them in foreign countries. She is also making sure women have legal abortions and good healthcare for single moms. She is supporting to require healthcare companies to offer equal physical and mental healthcare for families. “Mental health is one of the biggest concerns, because how police are having to handle a lot of really difficult mental health problems on the street.”- Hillary Clinton (busnessinsider.com) Clinton also announced that she will enforce Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act when she gets elected president. She plans to break down the drug companies so they can lower the prescription drug cost to the American citizens.
