Hill day (September 28th of 2015) is one of the most important event for Occupation Therapy practitioner in which OT practitioner make their voices heard to the members of Congress. That day 650 Occupational Therapy practitioners and students from 28 states visited to legislators on Capitol Hill as part of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Hill Day. On Hill day all the participants shared how occupational therapy can improve outcomes while cutting costs by helping people regain their function and independence and return to being active members of society.
