Every four years, we as American citizen exercise our right to vote for the President of the United States of America. This year Hilary Clinton the democratic nominee looks to be the first woman to be voted president of the United States. Many American people don’t believe that the U.S is ready for a woman to be president, but I believe that Hillary Clinton a transformational leader will likely prove those who doubt her ability to lead this country wrong. The very essence of transformational leadership screams Hillary Diane Clinton. She exhibits the five fundamental practices that Kouzes and Posner developed that enables leaders to get extraordinary things accomplished (Northouse 2013 p.198). Many believe that the compassion that she has shown the families is a ploy to gain political backing from the African-American community, but the families involved believed that her involvement and encouragement was sincere, and they plan to back her all the way to the White House. Why? Because Hilary Clinton took the time to sit down with them, and to hear the stories of each one of the victims ‘mothers. She has encouraged them to share their stories with the world to bring about change through their shared experience of the losing a child to violence. I usually am not late for meetings, but I do occasionally arrive two - three minutes late for work. I allow the day to go by without noticing that several things have not been completed. Not only does my mismanagement of time cause undue stress, but it also wreaks havoc on my work life balance. The biggest problem is meeting deadlines for spontaneous projects. I don’t mind handling the projects it just takes longer than expected to get on task, which means that I will be staying late to make sure the project is completed. Staying late means that dinner is late, or my family will eat take out. This also can disrupt other scheduled activities for the evening. Mismanagement of time affects both my work, and home life, and it also wreaks havoc on my finances when my family has to eat out instead of having a home cooked meal. There are times when I become distracted by the problems of others, which cause my own projects to suffer. Resolving this issues will allow me to be calm, and level-headed, instead of a rude irritated person that is struggling to get her project back on
