Imagine that in more than 40 states, at least 75 percent of public school start earlier than 8:30 am, and about 86 percent of the nation agree that school should start later. According to the researchers, it’s been analyzed that shifting the school day later in the morning shows better performance in attendance, academics, and decrease of stress or depression. School should start later in the morning because sleep deprivation has caused many problems by giving a disadvantage for the students by increasing their chances of not doing well in school and not concentrating.
